Abstract
The Qarakhanian or Afrasiab dynasty was one of the first Turkic dynasties that gained power in the eastern lands of Syr Darya/Jaxartes river in the 4th century AH, and after converting to Islam, it gained a lot of prestige among the Muslims of the region and was able to replace dynasties such as the Samanids in Transoxiana in a short period of time. unfortunately, the available reports about the history of the Qarakhanids are very scattered and limited, despite the vastness of the territory and the stability of the government. Therefore, the remaining coins from their reign are an important source for knowing the history of the dynasty. minting of coins and the presence of various titles and rituals in them, apart from the visual aspects, had a wide political and functional appearance. accurate identification of these titles is like a window that guides the history researcher to a new understanding of the history of this dynasty. This research, with the qualitative research method, analytical-descriptive approach, while emphasizing the  library and museum collecting methods, aims to answer the question that the monetary and the coinage system of the Qarakhanid dynasty represent what characteristics in terms of the distribution of mints, the reflection of titles, rituals, visual aspects and economic capabilities of the government? the final achievement of this research, while clarifying the role of the Qarakhanid coins as one of the main remaining sources for investigating the political and social history of this period, emphasizes the point that the rulers of the Qarakhanid dynasty, by using some special titles and rituals, practically were looking for political legitimacy in the political environment of Transoxiana.
